About

By day, Florentino excels in the operational and academic world. While currently helping to run the Continuing Education office at Suffolk Community College, he has been involved in a wide range of organizational functions: training, hiring, teaching, program management, tutoring, and coaching. He is also currently the Director of Public Relations for the NY Metro Association for Computing Machinery, and an Instructor of various college courses.

By night, Forentino embraces his creative side. His personal brand, Tino Art, showcases his abstract/expressive paintings, digital pop art, published books, and music compositions. Through Tino Art, he also uses his degree in Applied Psychology and coaching background to provide motivation and empowerment via his La Vita podcast.

Creative Consulting was a way to bridge both the academic success side of Florentino and the artistic side.

Florentino combines the techniques he acquired through coaching and teaching to meaningfully advise others throughout their own personal journey, whether it be developing academic skills or a cohesive art brand.

Florentino enjoys spending time with family and friends, mowing his lawn, cooking and baking, and simply enjoying life.

Mission

Our mission is simple: to ignite the fire of creativity. We do this by:

  • For Everyone: Offering video masterclasses and written guides on academic and artistic tips.
  • For Artists: Meeting one-on-one for personalized consultations about art, publishing, and branding.
  • For Students: Meeting one-on-one for personalized coaching about academia, public speaking, and professional development.
  • For Organizations: Supporting and leading fundraising and events for school clubs, programs, and creative initiatives.
  • For Supporters: Providing self-designed merchandise so you can proudly display your love of creativity.

At Creative Consulting, there’s truly something for everyone, whether you’re a casual community member, an eager student, or an experienced artist.

Values

Everyone is different: During appointments, no two outcomes will be alike. Each has their own goals, objectives, and approaches to art, academia, and success. We excel at meeting everyone where they are and tailoring advice to their needs.

Collaboration is key: As opposed to simply shouting directions, we believe true success comes from working WITH the client. By asking questions and engaging in active listening, we ensure everyone leaves feeling heard.

Subjectivity: There is no such thing as a “bad student” or a “bad artist.” Furthermore, we are trained to work diligently with clients of all diverse needs and abilities.
